Inspection & QC reports

Inspectors record their findings in reports, forms and photos. That data still has to make it into the quality system afterwards, and that is retyping work. Dottle reads inspection and QC reports, including partly handwritten ones, classifies the findings and posts them. The inspector only reviews the doubtful cases.

This is how the flow runs.

  1. The report comes in

A scanned form, PDF or photo. Dottle recognises the report type and the lot it belongs to.

  2. Findings structured

Measurements, scores and remarks are read field by field, including from handwritten forms.

    • Lot or batch number
    • Measurements and scores
    • Rejections and deviations
    • Inspector and date
    • Photos and attachments
  3. Validated against your standards

Every finding is checked before it enters your quality system.

    • Report matched to the right lot or batch
    • Measurements validated against your standards per product
    • Scores classified by your own inspection scheme
    • Rejections and deviations flagged immediately
  4. Posted into your system

The inspection data lands in your quality or ERP system, traceable to the original report.
