Work orders

Field engineers fill in work orders on paper: hours, materials, a customer signature. Those slips then have to enter the system before invoicing can happen, and it slips. Dottle reads work orders, including handwritten quantities and hours, matches them to projects and stages them for invoicing.

This is how the flow runs.
